Mr. W (my boss ) : Our lady staff *eyes looking at me*
Mr. X-san : Very creative idea
Me : *blushing crazily in the middle of the meeting*

So this is the feeling.... of making a presentation from the idea of the thing you love and getting compliment from the highness Japanese :P

Done

So finally the meeting is all done yesterday. It went well, however it didn't come as easy as usual. Other team worked over time,10 am to 2 am everyday since last Saturday, even on Sunday. Lucky me, my division had no presentation, so I got home earlier on 11pm. And, of course my parents are here since early month so I really don't want piss my dad off as the previous meeting (which I got home on 1-2am, and my dad won't talk to me like a week). Really wonder why on earth they always come whenever I have to work over time o_O

This is the main dealer business meeting which every semester the Japanese  bosses will come to the main dealer, and main dealer have to prepare a presentation toward our achievement, the anaysis, and the next plan, surely to increase the car sales. I think this time was the smoothest meeting we've ever done. The Japanese bosses were so nice, they even joked around a lot. 

And I am so proud of C, lack of sleep, exhausted mind and body, yet he presented so well. We had the best meeting ever!

I wonder if other brand do such things. How will it be if SKII compared to Clinique, or MAC to MUFE segment by segment? Hehehe, I am so out of topic XD

Just this evening, my boss thanked to all of us, and we are rewarded one day off and he promised to take us a big meal celebration hehehe.. Looking forward, boss B-)

Roses are Red

Doing nothing at the office, feeling sleepy but I can't sleep here right? So I blog! Some stuff that catch my eyes recently: stuff in red!

This was my outfit last Saturday: top from Cotton Ink and the red shoes are from Wondershoe. Bought this shoes couple years ago, but only wore it twice, because it hurt my toe so bad. But when I got this Stripe Color-block tank in red, I remembered I have the red shoes to match it. And what's the excitement? I was using band aid and it worked like magic! The pain was gone, yay!

This is another red stuff (Can I say car as stuff?). This new Honda Odyssey is in new color: Aurora Rosewood Pearl. I think it's so cool that people could create such a cool name for car's color. Saying it sounds sophisticated, mysterious, and sexy (How cool is that?).

Another one is the new Honda Civic in: Carnelian Red Pearl. I even have to google what the meaning of Carnelian is. Lol.

Overtime

Okay, here we are again preparing Main Dealer Business Meeting on this Tuesday. Got home at 2 am two days ago, didn't bring my key (stupid me), and.... disaster!

10.22 pm

Me texted Dad nervously:

"Dad, I may be late at home tonight, got an overtime at the office. Don't worry, I can go to office tomorrow at noon."

10.24 pm

Dad replied:

"Okay, be safe there."

12.12 am

Me texted Dad again, the nervous was doubled!

"Hmm, Dad, I think will be a lil bit late, please send me Yulin's number (new maid). So I can call her when I got home."

12.13 am

Dad replied:

"It's okay, I will open the door for you."

12.16 am

Me replied, really I skipped my heart a bit:

"Okay, Dad. It will be over soon, I will call you later."

12.17 am

Dad replied:

"Ok."

1.41 am

Dad texted me, obviously seems angry now:

"Hey, why don't you go home yet?"

1.44 am

Me replied, almost crying:

"Not yet, Dad. Everybody is still at the office. I will call you when I get home"

----- no reply

1.57 am

Me texted Dad

"I am on my way home."

----- no reply

2.20 am 

In front of my house, called Dad 5 times and got no answer.

15 minutes later:

Mom opened the door (thank God!) and told me that Dad was angry with me. I was so gonna dead!

Even I was at home, he didn't show up. Better be prepared myself for tomorrow.  And as a result, yes, I can't sleep! It's because I was thinking what to say to Dad tomorrow. Really frustrating. This is my 6th times (since 3 years ago) doing this overtime at work, it's kinda routine for us work at main dealer, to prepare a presentation to our Japanese big boss, and still my Dad doesn't get used to it, that his daughter will stay up late the office one full week, twice a year. SIGH.

And the following day was way predictable with an hour lecturer from Dad in the morning and the scene of me keeping my mouth off and nodding continuously. I think that was the best way to calm the angry Dad, to let him burst it out. 

I am so sorry, Dad. It's just the way it is :((

Hope Tuesday will come soon and the meeting will run well, oh and really wish the Japanese big boss will be in a good mood *finger crossed*

PS: I've been getting home late still, and I am saved by my own key.

I Feel Good

Just celebrated staff birthday at the office today. Yup, my office celebrate each staff (who work over one year only) birthday every month. In the end of the month we gather everyone who has birthday on that month, buy them cakes, and together sing the happy birthday song and take pictures. Also the bosses will do the birthday speeches even pray for us. This is my birthday month so I was in and really I had a good time :")

Then I want to tell you my new things (these make me pay the credit card bill today. Uh oh). I have this new trouser in black from Body and Soul, very comfy to wear, fits my short leg perfectly :P, and new batik top from Batik Keris. I love the color and the cheongsam neck. Glad that I chose size M (usually take SS!), kinda lousy but it fits very well as an office attire. Also introducing my new hair! Been having too much bad hairs days and finally cut my hair shorter last week. My head feels so much lighter and... I feel good! :D

Late Nite Post

There are times when I stay late at the office.
Twice a year.
4 to 7 days in each time.
9 to 2. Am to am.
Even on Sunday, like today.
Tired, yes.
Exhausted, yes.
Panda eyes, yes.
Pimples, yes.

All for a meeting. Six hours meeting with the Japanese. The review of our last semester achievement and our 2011 strategy. Tomorrow, May 30th, 2011. 10.30.  

I have been through it since 2009 to 2011. I do not complaint to get home late. But my parents do *sigh*. Please do not worry about me. Bosses give us tons of foods even a vitamin C injection. It is just the way it is. And the most important thing I do it happily.
