In the mood of cooking

I love cooking for my bf because thank God, he is easy, hahaha. I usually cook minched beef with some garlic, chilly, salt and pepper, and it will please him deeply. Easy, right ;)

Last Saturday night when we got nothing to do, we decided to do a grocery. And we found bunch of fresh seashell on the corner, my bf thought it will match the garlic, chilly, salt and pepper recipe. So seashell for dinner.

I also buy Kerapu fish. So fresh, I can't help not to buy it. Kerapu has a soft texture, so it would be perfect for steam. I googled the recipe, and turned out to be so easy.

And here are some pictures of my cookings last weekend.

So in the mood of cooking :D

Fave Place to Take Selfie Pictures

In the car!! :D

It's mostly on my way to the office, when my makeup still fresh, also testing out whether I put the right amount of blush or not >.<
And thanks to morning sunshine that make my makeup looks glowy :P

Happy Makeup

Once in a month there is a day when you wake up and not feeling well. The time ticks too slow, you even won't get out of the bed, you hate the weather and you hate the traffic. But all gone after you put some makeup. Well, it works for me.

I had a quite blue feeling since yesterday and 100% sure i'ts only a PMS effect, so keep calm and let's put some makeup. And yes, being pretty makes me happy. Here's my happy makeup (not quite sure what it really means, because I just put some makeup that works best on me :P)

My happy makeup:
Moisturizer - First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Cream (bought the samples and been wearing two days, I think my skin loves it)
Foundation - Make Up For Ever Face & Body (great for dry skin)
Powder - MAC Studio Careblend/Pressed (natural finish, oily gets away)
Blush - Tarte Amazonian Clay Blush in Blissful (my new fave blush!)
Eyeliner - Bobbi Brown long wear gel eyeliner
Mascara - Dolly Wink Volume
Eyeshadow - theBalm Meet Matte Nude
Lips - theBalm Mai Billsbepaid Lipstick (really great for dry and chapped lips)

Bali 2013

Holaaaa, so glad to be back again, blogging.
I've just got a pretty busy month. Had marathon meetings and the highlight of October: my best friend was getting married at Bali! :O

She told me a year before (what a preparation!) so we could booked our ticket earlier. And yay me, I got very cheap Garuda Indonesia's ticket, idr 700k round trip. Very good deal, right :))

So the time came eventually, I considered this trip also for a little holiday and best of all I got the chance to meet my old best friends. We had so much fun: catching up each other's story, doing makeup and hairdo together, taking a lot of photos, and even crying when our best friend walked down the isle!

My best friend's wedding probably was the most intimate wedding I've ever attended. All was perfect. The welcome dinner, the holy matrimony, and the reception itself.

Let's start from the place we stayed for three days. My best friend managed to booked a room for us in Mantra Hotel, Nusa Dua, Bali just about 3 minutes from Mulia Resort, the wedding reception's place. Mantra hotel was nice, the room was okay with a bed at the balcony, it was quite relaxing, except that Bali was so hot during the time we came, so we prefer to stay inside. They had a beautiful swimming pool (I forget to take a picture, my bad), and they had yummy breakfast!

When we came on Saturday, she invited us to have a welcome dinner at Mantra's restaurant. I could just say that my best friend only want the best for her guests. She served us Naughty Nuri's famous pork ribs to Cold Stone ice cream! *happy tummy*

The next day, all of us went to the holy matrimony. It was such a touching moment. I've never attended any holy matrimony like hers. Beautiful wedding dress, best choir, funniest Priest, and also the very best photographer (ever heard about Axioo?).

And the reception at that night was unforgettable. Mulia Resort, Nusa Dua itself is a stunning place, enough said. Too bad, we arrived there too late, it's too dark to see the magnificent view. But still, we were all in an awe. The dinner was so delicious, I had a foodgasm (hahahah made up my own term). They served: lobster with cheese and mushroom, steaks, nasi bakar with ikan tongkol (grilled rice and tongkol fish with spice), and they even had a sushi and sashimi bar. All was yummy and fresh. I cried a tear >,<

The last day, my friends had their own schedule, so me and my bf decided to take a lunch at Bubba Gump, Kuta before going to the airport for our flight back to Surabaya. Bubba Gump is an interesting place, very retro and playful with a lot of decorations I can't help to take picture of them all. Great place, great food!

Now, it's time take a look of the pictures.
All good quality pictures were taken by my friend, others are mine :P

And again, happy wedding Arya and Carrine, have a blissful marriage!

I stole my boyfriend's shoes!

Had an office event last Sunday, a beauty class actually, so I gotta dress up beautifully and of course wore high heels. High heels probably are the most intimidating fashion item for me, you'll instantly look like a model (longer leg, a very good camouflage indeed), but remember to pay it off: sore legs and foots because the heels hurt them like hell. I hate it. I hate it. I hate it.

I don't know, whether I haven't find the right shoes, or it's just my foots that can barely stand a 3-4 hours pain on heels.

The good news is I have my boyfriend! Hahaha..  So when finally after standing almost 3 hours straight, we had lunch and I had to pee, but my foots hurt so bad, I couldn't walk. The next thing came to my head was borrowing my boyfriend's shoes.

He questioned it to me: 'Are you sure?'. I nodded without hesitate. So be it. It was just quick walk on way too big shoes to the bathroom, I bet no one will notice. And I made it back to the place we had lunch grinned happily. I envy you guys for wearing flats every single day >,<

I wore Zara dress with unbranded long cardigan + my bf's Everbest shoes :D

Everyday Eyeliner Makeup

Thank God it's Thursday! :D

Today I want to share my everyday eyeliner makeup.
I took the pictures on my way to the office this morning (while in a traffic, of course).

I use my favorite of all time liquid eyeliner by Dolly Wink.
I tried Bobbi Brown famous long wear gel eyeliner, but too bad, it smudges on me badly. I also tried MUFE and Rimmel pencil eyeliner, but both are disappointing.

So I always come back to Dolly Wink liquid eyeliner. The texture, the staying power, all is so great, I can't ask for more.

And here's the way I draw my eyeliner everyday:

Thank God for eyeliners!

Dollywink Lashes

One of the tiniest thing that make a huge different in makeup look is Fake Lashes!

I have tried several brands, bought by accident actually, because mostly I was running out of time (having party in the next day, but just realize I have no fake lashes stock) so I just pick any brand in Sogo.

Thanks to internet I did some research for a good quality one, and I ended up choosing and falling to Dolly Wink Eyelashes.

I picked no 11, Pure Sweet, which is so lovely, not too long, not too thick, but enough to make your eyes pops naturally.

Sweetness!

My not-so-complicated Skincare Routine

I believe a better canvas will make a better painting. And that's more or less the same with the face. So lately, since I love using makeup, I am more concern to keep my face healthy from within. I drink water as much as I can, but I do drinking coffee everyday, and being in an aircon office almost 10 hours every day. Once a while I walk out in sunny Surabaya to grab some lunch. So yeah, my skin is not in its very best : dehydrated and polluted I guess -_-

So I am now more concern to keep my face as hydrated as possible. I use moisturizer every morning and night before bed. I've been enjoying Shiseido Night Moisture Recharge for a couple of years now. Even though it says Night, but I use it in the morning too, because I found the morning one is stickier which I hate it. So I only get protected my the SPF that is contained in my foundation.

Back to Shiseido Night Moisture Recharge, it has a very light texture, no sticky at all and I feel my skin moistured enough. Most of all, it doesn't break out my sensitive skin. I purchased it around idr 450k. Quite pricey, but I can use it up in 9 months, value for money, right.

Lately I find my skin is drier and gets some flakiness, yuck, blame the Surabaya's hot weather >,< . And I think using moisturizer only is not enough. So I do some research on the internet, and found out Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair, a serum which claims to create more smoother, hydrated and stronger skin. There you go.

Been using it about couple of weeks, and I can see it reduces the redness on my cheeks, doesn't really hydrated though, still can see dry patches here and there, but I think I have to use it up around one month to really achieve the healthier skin *fingers crossed*.

Oh and sometimes in the morning before applying moisturizer I spray Avene Thermal Spring Water. The reviews say it can calm the redness, but I don't really see the result. To me it's just like spraying water on my face >,<. The only thing I do enjoy is the cool feeling after spraying it. I think I won't repurchase.

I think that's all of my skincare routine, not really complicated, right.

Happy Sunday! :)

Eleven Minutes

Eleven MinutesEleven Minutes by Paulo Coelho
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I've never read any novels twice or more. For me once is enough. But this Paulo Coelho novel Eleven Minutes marks my first time ever reading a novel twice.

I once read it in 2007 (thanks to goodreads shelf). I think I wasn't quite sure about the content. All I remember is a prostitute in Rue de Berne, a famous road in Switzerland. But I forgot the story line.

Having not reading lately, I have the urgency to light up my old neglected hobby : reading novels (ever since I found hay day :P). That's why I think I have to reread it.

Eleven Minutes is the only Paulo Coelho's novel I have. I even haven't read the most famous the Alchemist. I don't know why I picked Eleven Minutes back then. And I once lent from library Witch from Portobelo, but never understand a word on it *too heavy for my chick-lit head*.

When I reread it I found that Paulo Coelho is trying to tell the readers to love without posses. All is written beautifully in Maria, the prostitute's eyes. Maria was a little Brazilian innocent girl who had a dream to find love and get settled with a rich husband, lovely kids in a sea view house (Who doesn't want it anyway?). But the universe had something else for her in Switzerland.

I recommend this novel to those who are 21 and above. No under age please. Because some terms maybe too 'harsh' ('prostitute' and 'orgasm' are everywhere) and yet you won't get the point. As I reread it now I understand it better. Yes, I take this Paulo Coelho novel seriously as if it's a life lesson.

Good read, indeed.

Long time no see

Hiiii.. Long time no see!
(just figure out I have no single post in August, blame the Hay Day! 😙)

Let's have a quick update (gonna be qiuck I have boat order on Hay Day hahaha).

I've been enjoying bath and body works products since highschool and I got hooked ever since. It was Sweet Pea Body Cream! A great starter for me, because the fragrance is indeed sweet. My classmate even asked me what perfume I used ☺

Too bad, the product is only in US, so I found hard to get it. As time goes by, I was in and out using another body care product, the body shop, loocitane, etc. Basically they are the product that I can buy easily in the store, but too bad they don't accommodate 'my fragrance'. Thank goodness because of internet, I found some online store that selling them! So I think I always get back to bath and body works.

Now I have Beautiful Day, the triple moisture body cream, and I love it to bits! Fruity, floral, fresh, it really makes my day beautiful 😍

In the picture above I also have another bath and body works product a hand sanitizer with an owl holder, cute right. Another one is Bliss sage+lemon body butter (in this hot weather all we need is to make sure the skin is well moistured). The name is body butter, but it has no texture like one. Once you apply, it absorbs quickly without feeling greasy. I think i will repurchase the full size in the future.

Oh and I want to tell you my recent fashion purchase that I really love! Spanx!

I purchase Mid-Thigh Undie-tectable Spanx to substitute my old one that I have been using almost 3 years (it's wacoal anyway). It's been sewn here and there so I think I have to purchase the new one. And Spanx it is.

I wore it yesterday under my Dorothy Perkins black dress yesterday at my bf's best friend's wedding, and all I can say is: I LOVE IT!

As it says on the packaging:
"Invisible compression zone flattens tummy"
"Secretly slims under skirt & dress"

Best purchase of the month!

Another thing I purchase lately (You purchase way too many, Yun!😱) is Batiste dry shampoo. Been reading some great reviews on this product as a first help for instant fresh hair, it reduces the oil on the scalp, when you have no time to wash your hair.

I have a terrible oily scalp. I wash my hair every morning, and at 3-4 pm it gets oily, even at the aircon office. Sad. So when I saw this product at Mothercare I purchase it without hesitate. I just used it twice, but don't really see the magic. Or was it me that didn't use it properly. I think I have to give it another try next time.

I guess that'd be all. I just have my morning coffee and breakfast while writing this on this beautiful Sunday morning. Bliss.

Happy Sunday!

Enjoy Sunday Makeup

I am grateful for Sunday, I enjoy it, I am a fan of it, I adore it.
Most of all, on this day, recently, I can do a makeup experiment! XD
I find this hobby entertaining. Doing my makeup makes myself happy. As simple as that :")

As now I want to share my makeup on last Sunday. I had a date with boyfie, and decided to try out the new foundations. Make Up For Ever face & body and Chanel Perfection Lumiere. This two foundation compliments each other. The MUFE one moisturizes my dry skin well and Chanel evens out and smoothen my skin.

As daily makeup for office I usually only apply MUFE and MAC powder. And I can't wear Chanel alone because of my dry skin. So both of them work awesome on my combination skin, for medium to high coverage.

Another good thing is, wearing this double foundations doesn't look too much on me, you can see at the picture below. Yay!

I have a crush

I have a crush, no, crushes..

on.... Candy Crush and Hay Day!

Hahaha, these two are the games on my iPad, which was a life changing :P

It was really a bad idea to have me downloading these games, because I am attached to them ever since. But I think the founders of these games still have mercy on me. Like on Candy Crush, it has some kind of penalty, which if I fail on a level like a lot of time, I am banned to play until some certain times. I even got 24 hours penalty. Same rule goes to Hay Day, the farm needs time to be worked on, so we have to wait and complete all the orders to get through the next level. Unless you want to pay some (real) money to fasten the works.

This rule, I thank the founders, because it's the most effective way to stop me playing the games, so I can go to bath or bed, or work. Yup, that bad on me XD.

But, look at the bright side.
It keeps me occupied very well when I have nothing to do.
Go try them yourself, at your own risk.

My current Candy Crush

And my current Hay Day, I named it: The Ranchies (it reminds me of Bill Rancic! Haha!)

theBalm Lipstick : Mai Billsbepaid

Holaaaa from my home, yay this is my first time blogging at home. I really am still overwhelmed by the easiness of using the internet connection anywhere anytime :")

Anyway, my new lipstick has arrived! theBalm Mai Billsbepaid! How cute the name is, right? Actually it's kind a silly, because I told my bf to buy me this lipstick because I've got a lot expense this month (I purchased two foundation at the same week!). And lucky me he handed me the money right away (girls, don't forget to use your puppy eyes :p). So the name says it all, my bills be paid by my bf! Hahaha.

It's like forever that I have problem using lipstick, because of the sensitive lips. Sometimes I got itchy and chapped easily by using only lip balm. I even once got pretty bad swollen lips when a beauty assistant in the mall try putting the lipstick on me, only in two hours. Instead of pretty, I got ugly? Yup, it's that bad.

So when I first know theBalm lipstick, the very first question is: Will the product makes dry and chapped lips?

After putting it on almost all day today....

It is not!

It even makes my lips look healthier and the highlight is also the color is very wearable for everyday looks, it's nude, I say it : 'no lipstick' lipstick ;)

Yay!

The Provider

So the good gadget needs a good buddy to accommodate aIl the internet connection. My bf has been using XL hotrod 3G and he says nothing bad about it, so I pick XL without hesitate. This iPad mini uses nano sim card, so we have to install it in XL center. We went to XL center in jalan Pemuda yesterday on 5 pm. When we got there the security told us that the staff had their breakfasting in one hour. So the office will open again on 6. So we waited in the lounge. It's quite comfy there, super speedy wifi connection (I managed to download Candy Crush. Yay!), cozy couch, and free drinks.

So when the time came, the staff called us, and explained the detail, did some paperwork and done. All done in only 1 hour. Anyway XL has a good deal, by buying two sim card for only idr 60k consist of 3 giga byte, valid for two months. And the staff was very nice and helpful. *happy*

Learn to Shade

My very first concern about my face is definitely the nose (after the forehead of course). I have no pointy nose, I prefer to call it small nose though. So small then some of high school friends often bully me about its existence. Meh! X)

So when I know a little makeup trick, there is one thing called: shading (or some beauty bloggers call it contouring, I did my own face as an experiment. Hahaha, nothing's better right. I once did nose shading for my mom, and it ended up asymmetrical! Lol.

So this is my very first time trying nose shading.

I don't have any shading makeup so I use my Meet Matt(e) Palette, I choose Matt Wood (the deep brown one) and an eyeshadow brush to shade my nose. For the top of the nose I add a line of Matt Malloy (the white one).

Really an amateur but I kinda like the result X). It's not too noticeable, but does make a bit of camouflage for pointy nose look.

With and Without Nose Shading. I think I look slimmer! Yay!

Lombok Bali Business Trip

Yay!
I have to 'yay' first, because after almost five years working here, I haven't visited all Honda Dealers in my area which is Lombok and Bali.

So yay (again)! :D

We have one Dealer in Lombok and three Dealers in Bali, so it was a four days business trip, the longest ever in my work experience. Four days trip were super packed. Along with my colleague we went to each Dealers: visited, checked, and presented the result at the in of the day. Tired and lack of sleep, but I had my mojo: enjoying their local foods!

Mie Manalagi - Lombok

Nasi Ayam Bakar - Warung Bendega - Bali

Nasi Campur Ayam - Warung Adnyana - Bali

Iga Ole - Warung Ole - Bali

The most favorite coffee in one of our Dealer: Cappuccino with Honda Logo :D

I definitely have to burn some calories now! >,<

Dolly Wink Mascaras

Mascara was the very first beauty item I bought when I was at senior high. It was even a clear mascara, without any effect. I've told you that I was a dorky back then (or still am?) that I had no experience at make ups at all. Hehehe..

Now, Mascara for me is a must have beauty item. I can have a bold black eyeliner but without a mascara I feel naked.

I tried The Body Shop or Maybeline once or twice, and not quite satisfied with the result. They were not long lasting, I would have panda eyes by 3-4 hours after applying. I thought every mascara was the same until I found Koji Dolly Wink!

I have Dolly Wink liquid eyeliner and I like everything about it, so when I saw their mascara, without hesitate I purchased it. My very first Dolly Wink Mascara is the long one.

And as predicted: say bye-bye to panda eyes! This mascara stays still until 10 hours, as amazing as the liquid eyeliner. So when C was going to HK last month, I told him to buy me another Dolly Wink mascara: the volume one! Hooray!

Volume + Long = Awesome Lashes!

I was trying these two mascaras at a friend's wedding last week ;;)

Dear Dad

Dear Dad,

I thank God for the day of your birth today many years ago. We agree not to mention the number, right. It doesn't matter how old are you, for me, you are forever young, yeah with that huge tattoo on your left chest, I am always in an awe for the courage in your youth. You have such an experience.

I know you love watching the news everyday as often as possible. You acknowledge every issue, every name in politics in Indonesia, you sometimes argue it, you probably talk to Mom, but she doesn't really into it, so it seems like you're talking to yourself, take it easy Dad, women's brain is only about pretty things, like diamonds and shoes, politic isn't included.

You know sometimes when I have to work over time at the office, even on Sundays, you suddenly call me, just to make sure I am okay, just like you know that something bad happen to me (yeah, over time is bad, right). And every time you hit me with the question "Where are you and how are you?", I answer and ask you a similar question to you quickly, to get you distracted, and you will forget the 'where are you' question at the first place hehehe.

You know Dad, I think I get communication skill from you. I remember when I was a little kid, you had your radio thing called ORARI or something, and you speak different accent and dialect. You are easily adapting to them. And look at me now, most people don't know that I come from small town not even written in Indonesian map. Wohoo!

Hmm, what else? Think I'm gonna write more in your next birthday.

I hope you have good times with your grandchildren, I love seeing your smile when you play with them. Smile and laugh a lot, it helps reducing the wrinkles hehehe.
I hope you will be forever grateful for ups and downs in life. No worries, you have God and you have us, your family.
I pray God will give you a strong heart and a peaceful mind, I know you have a sleeping trouble, yeah, Mom told me.
And one more thing, please keep healthy, okay?

Happy birthday Dad, I love you.

Sincerely,

Your little girl, always

Hooray! Grandpa loves Me! :)

Beauty Bucket

I'd like to list all of beauty haul from earlier this year, just to remind me of how much I've been spending on beauty stuff, and moreover to remind me that I have enough XD.

What's in the Beauty Bucket:
1. Bath and Body Works - Flawless Gold 24K Silk Lotion (got it as a gift from bestie)
2. Tresemme - Keratin Smooth Heat Protection Shine Spray
3. Avene - Thermal Spring Water
4. Real Technique - Expert Face Brush
5. Koji Dolly Wink - Volume Mascara, Fake Eyelashes (Pure Sweet), Liquid Eyeliner in Black (repurchased, love it!)
6. Make Up Forever - Kohl Pencil in black (smudgy on me T_T)
7. Sigma - Eyeliner Brush E05 travel size (got it for free, yay!)
8. Bobbi Brown - Long-wear Gel Eyeliner in Jet Black
9. theBalm - Eyeshadow Palette Meet Matte Nude, Blush Instain Argyle (reviewed in previous posts)

I am not a beauty junkie, so I just keep my make up simple, one for each. Except for blush, I have three, and foundation, I have four (including samples in jar).

So far I love my Real Technique expert face brush. I love it because I use it to apply liquid foundation, powder foundation, cc cream, bb cream. In one word: multitasker! I also love that this brush blends in the nose area very well :D. A hard worker really deserve to be washed as often and clean as possible. I do mine once a week with Sebamed derma soft wash emulsion (it's actually my facial soap, it's so gentle, so it'll be great for cleaning my brush) and hang it in my room with air conditioner, so when I wake up the next day, my brush will be as new as the first time ;)

Another love is Keratin Smooth Heat Protection Shine Spray by Tresemme. I purchased the other Tresemme last year Thermal Creations Heat Tamer Spray and I liked it (it doesn't make my hair greasy at all, unlike Kerastase Ciment Thermique) so I repurchased. Been using it around one month, I can say, I love Keratin Smooth Heat Protection Shine Spray more. Although it has less nice fragrance compared to Thermal Creations Heat Tamer Spray, somehow, it makes my hair smoother, and what I love the most is my hair dries faster than before (dry as done, not in a bad way).

I think the other items work so-so, just fine or still sealed, so I can't review them yet. Or I think I write enough. Or I think I have to go home. The office hour is done! Yay! =P

Bobbi Brown Long-Wear Gel Eyeliner

I got this famous gel eyeliner while ago. Purchased it from Bobbi Brown's website when they had 20% off. Yay me! I did a research before, some reviews it so good but others says it so-so. Then I just push my luck. Let's bring it to my train case (I don't have one, but writing that makes it sounds cooler, hahaha, I only have  my messy beauty desk at home =P).

First impression was the packaging is so beautiful, I don't have any high end brand makeup product, so this made me in an awe. It has glass packaging, with beautiful black lid and white famous Bobbi Brown fonts.

Just try this out (I use it after primer) only for 3 days, but I could say this is very long lasting eyeliner. I had this from 7 am and stays in place until 8 pm. The only downside is, I made a winged eye look yesterday, and in 4 pm I saw the wings has broken (okay, I say it too much hahaha), the thing is this eyeliner smudged only on the wings. So, I just erased the wing out and my eyes still in a good look all in all.

Oh, and I do notice a quite weird feeling applying this eyeliner. My eyes are sore! It's not comfortable yet it's still bearable. Like, I don't know, can there be ingredients that get me allergic? The sore gone slowly after 4 hours, thank God.

The removing part is quite easy, I just need a better eye and make up remover. I have L'Oreal one, and it hurts my eyes. Why can't you stand a drugstore product? *asking my eyes*

I use Sigma E05 for eyeliner brush

What so good about buying high end product without knowing how to use it? ;)
I learn it the best from Michelle Phan. Easy peasy wing eyes! Check her video out:

While he's away

C got so lucky, he got free trip from the office, thank God. I am soooo happy for him and so sad at the same time. Happy because this trip is the reward of all his hard work, sad because he is away without me! T_T. He has been away for Macau-Shenzhen-Hongkong trip for 6 days. This is his last day, means: he's going back home today. Yay!

And what I did while he is away:

Watching movies
I rent some movies, I like the original ones, so I always rent them from Windisc. I watched The Vow. Rachel McAdams  is so pretty and Channing Tatum has a killer body (you can see his butts here, oops!). The story was based on real life, which  I found so romantic. I cried a tear watching their saying vows moment :"). I also watched Letters to Juliet. I can't imagined this movie without Amanda Seyfried. Gorgeous! The story is kind a predictable, but I enjoy the acts and the views, really Verona and Siena are so beautiful. Lastly I watched Ocean Eleven, yes the handsome Mr. George Clooney's movie (I love him way way more than Brad Pitt). Actually I've never seen this movie entirely, I once watched it on TV but always miss the first part. I love this movie and I have Ocean Twelve and Thirteen in queue *can't wait*

I adore Amanda Seyfried hair!

Browsing sasa.com
I figured out that make ups price in HK is considerably cheaper than here in Indonesia. So, I browse through Sasa.com what to buy in there. I ended up choosing Koji Dolly Wink. My favorite liquid eyeliner, mascara and fake eyelashes (first try)  are on the way home tonight, baby! :D

Hanging out with my nephew
Darren is two years old now (at May 12). He is now a cute little guy with much laughter, more active, and he babbles a lot randomly! So happy to see him yesterday along with my sis n bro in law.

Scrap-booking
Been thinking of making another scrapbook for C's upcoming birthday, so I decided to spend my weekend at My Scrapbook Idea (MSI) to gather some ideas. The store has seriously enormous stuff for scrapbook, I get dizzy literally. Fortunately I got all I want *happy*

Blogging!
I am more productive now, because I have something to write about. Hahaha..

Okay, I have to back to work now, can't wait for my Dolly Wink, oops, can't wait for C to come back! =P

Update:
I saw Eleven Twelve and Julia Robert acts as Julia Robert was a very awesome idea!

I think I spend too much money on makeups this past six months. Foundations, blushes, brushes and eyeliners, omg! This is what I call the impact of joining a female forum which everyone share about makeups.

It's kind a big trouble, at least for me, because I can't help myself for buying makeups especially when it's cheaper than the counter. The good thing is I found a reason to wake up early. Ehem, what's the relation between makeup and wake up? YES, with all that new complicated makeup I bought, I have to wake up earlier so it will be worth it every penny that I put it on everyday (some has 12 months of expiry date, so I have to be wise). HAHAHA. *very silly reason, but it works on me =P*

Overwhelmed with all the makeups, I only need one more thing. Practice! Putting on makeup is like painting. You need practice to know what's best for your canvas, you need practice to know about what the canvas is for (okay, I go a little too far here). What I mean is I need to know what kind of makeup suit my skin very well or I need to know how much makeup I put on any occasion. Daily use/office makeups should be very natural, not too much, but have to give some freshness to last almost 10 hours. Party makeups should be more focus on the eyes, smokey eyes or fake lashes will add some sparks ;;).

So it was a Sunday afternoon, I had nothing to do, so this was my first trying. Oh I forget to mention, here I got new blush from theBalm, Instain Argyle, which is once again, because I read on the forum that it comes very pretty for fair skin, and it's 50% off, I just bought it without hesitate. And when it came last week, I was not really sure because the color in the pan is so pink, I tried it on to my fingers, it's a bright pink :O

theBalm's pretty packaging as always

So when I got back home I can't help to try it on my cheeks, I use a baby kabuki brush from Ecotools (I have no blush brush >,<) theBalm Instain Argyle was very pigmented on my cheeks, I was so shocked, I cleaned my face right away T_T. Then again I read in the forum, some suggest me to use my finger to tap on the pan first, then apply to my cheeks, and lastly blend it with brush. It turns out so well! *happy*

Can't you see something tiny in my picture that make my look much much prettier? How a tiny things can make a huge difference in a whole look : fake eyelashes! (Yes, I did take a picture without lashes, it was so ugly >,<)

Okay, that's all for now. Have a nice weekend!

Anyway I think I won't have a nice weekend, because C is going for Macau-Shenzhen-Hongkong trip until next week. But I'm thinking for what makeups should I tell him to buy there, hmmmm, and I kind a miss him T_T. Okay, enough rambling, bye!

So this is the feeling

........

Mr. X-san (the Japanese boss) : Who made the presentation?
Mr. W (my boss ) : Our lady staff *eyes looking at me*
Mr. X-san : Very creative idea
Me : *blushing crazily in the middle of the meeting*

So this is the feeling.... of making a presentation from the idea of the thing you love and getting compliment from the highness Japanese :P

theBalm Meet Matt(e) Nude

So I finally ordered my very first theBalm product: Meet Matt(e) Nude (go check their website, cute-vintage-ness overload! I am so thrilled by their way to name all their products. Too creative!) via Mimo Pre Order. I've been eyeing some matte eyeshadow palettes, so when I know that theBalm got 50% off on all product, I didn't want to miss the chance! : D.

I got this beautiful eyeshadow palettes only idr 315k (original price is $42), so it was a really good deal, right? *happy*. And guess what? It comes out in super pretty packaging and I have all the matte colors I want. I've wearing them a week, and I could say their staying power is awesome (I use NYX HD eyeshadow base first).

LOVE!

Don't You Forget About Me

Don't You Forget About MeDon't You Forget About Me by Alexandra Potter
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

After a long pause reading books (Gosh, I checked on my shelves it was like ages ago!), I finally managed to read a new book from Alexandra Potter: Don't You Forget About Me.

Anyway, this book is entertaining, kind a same old like other chicklit, but Potter did it great. She wrote the ups and downs story of Tess beautifully funny. Tess was broken hearted, messed up, but she got second chance! The other interesting story was about Tess's friend and her socialite life. The sarcasm of Tess added some more.

I enjoy the book, and look forward to another Potter's book!
